Terms of Service
Last updated: May 26, 2026
MyLogbook is operated by SynthaSkill LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using MyLogbook ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
MyLogbook is a digital maintenance + flight logbook for pilots and FAA-certificated mechanics. It is designed to support compliance with FAR 43.9, 91.417, and 61.51 record-keeping requirements. We do not certify the accuracy of records you enter — that responsibility remains with the certificated person making the entry, per FAR 43.9(a).
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
3. Account
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use. Better Auth session tokens expire 7 days after issue; you may revoke them via the Settings page at any time.
4. Subscription, Trial, and Fees
New accounts receive a 14-day free Pro trial. After the trial, continued access to Pro features requires an active paid subscription. Fees are billed in advance via Stripe and are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing on 30 days' notice; existing paid subscribers will not see a price change mid-billing-cycle.
5. Record Integrity (FAR 43.9)
Maintenance logbook entries you sign in MyLogbook are appended to a tamper-evident hash chain and anchored periodically to the Ethereum blockchain (currently the Sepolia testnet during the validation period). MyLogbook will not delete or alter signed entries on your behalf. Soft-delete and 30-day grace-period purge processes apply only to draft / un-signed records and to account deletions.
6. Acceptable Use
- Do not falsify aircraft, airmen, or maintenance records.
- Do not reverse-engineer or scrape the Service.
- Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content.
- Do not exceed plan limits via multiple accounts.
7. Your Data
You own your data. You can export your aircraft + logbook entries at any time from the Settings page as a PDF or JSON archive. We retain sealed maintenance records for the FAR-required retention period (typically 1 year past last entry, or until aircraft sold). See our Privacy Policy for details.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. Your records enter a 30-day grace period before hard deletion. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms with notice where practicable.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. We do not warrant uninterrupted service or error-free operation. MyLogbook is a record-keeping tool — it is your responsibility to ensure your records meet the regulatory requirements applicable to you.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (a) $100 USD or (b) the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts of Delaware.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms; if we make material changes we will notify you by email or in-app at least 30 days before they take effect.
